September 29, 2015: James Balog to deliver a public lecture at Utah State University’s Caine Performance Hall, in the Department of Art and Design. A radio interview with Utah Public Radio/Access Utah is scheduled for 9:00am the same day.

July 3-September 5, 2015: Select photos by James Balog at Verve Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  A July 6 Guardian article discusses the artists’ works on the effects of anthropogenic climate change.

July 9-August 16, 2015: Water’s Edge Photography Exhibit at Union Station, Toronto, Ontario. James Balog represented the U.S. in an exhibit for Canada’s 2015 Pan Am and Para Pam Am Games. Celebrated Pan American photographers Edward Burtynsky (Canada), James Balog (United States), Sebastião Salgado (Brazil), Cristina Mittermeier (Mexico), Jorge Uzon (Chile) and Gustavo Jononovich (Argentina) explored the important and tenuous relationship with our natural water supplies in a dynamic photography exhibition.

May-July 5, 2015: ICE: Portraits of Vanishing Glaciers Exhibit at Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center.

June 8-10, 2015: James Balog joined religious leaders, scholars, and activists to discuss “Theology, Ecology, and the Word” at the Halki II Summit in Turkey.

May 27, 2015: Multimedia presentation benefiting the Alaska Wilderness League in Boulder, CO.

May 22-25, 2015Telluride Mountainfilm Festival, where our film 1000 Cuts premiered.  Director: James Balog.
